Discovery.

It all begins with a brief discovery phone call where we get an initial glimpse into you and your project. If the project looks like a good fit for both of us, we will schedule an in-person (and on-site if you’re local) client consultation so you can learn more about how we will work together. We will do a walk through of your space and define the scope of the project so that we can get your reimagined interior started.

Utilizing what we have learned during the discovery phase, our studio will begin drafting our custom design proposal that covers the scope of work, fees and our working principles. A design proposal details deliverables and responsibilities. It is a working document that we will create with you so that our arrangement is clear, realistic, comfortable and ultimately successful for both client and designer.

Design.

With an approved design proposal in hand, we start the design phase by creating the initial space plans, concepts and budgets. We will happily incorporate ideas or inspiration you provide during this stage. As the project takes shape, we will share floor and furniture plans, concept boards, and color schemes to show you the possibilities of your space. Your candid feedback helps us ensure we are are moving in the right direction and creating a space that is perfect for you and your lifestyle.

Once floor plans and concepts are confirmed, we begin final design iterations including room renderings, construction details, and selection of all fixtures, finishes, furnishings and accessories. We will collect pricing for all work and items and provide a detailed budget. When all pieces of the design are confirmed, we will present the space to you in full. You will have final approval on all selections so you know exactly what your space will look like and what it will cost at the end of the design phase.

Delivery.

This stage is the fulfillment and implementation of the approved design plan. For our local full service clients we will help coordinate construction details to your contractors and trades and be available to be on site to oversee quality and adherence to the design plan as necessary. We will manage all procurement of goods including shipping, delivery and storage and provide up to date project accounting as goods are delivered and construction is completed.

Dwell.

The last step in the design process is the most exciting. With renovations complete we begin to bring the design plan to full realization by installing all our carefully selected furnishings, accessories and art. We will expertly style your space with all the small, personal touches that will make it feel like home and bring your new space to life!

After one final walk through of the completed project to make sure everything is as it should be, we send you the final documentation for you records and invoices for payment. Finally, we will arrange to have professional photos taken of your expertly designed space to show off the dramatic before and after.
